Academic Programs

Academics

At St. Anthony, we believe in nurturing the whole child, providing an education that integrates not only academic excellence, but also the development of their unique personalities and values. Our aim is to equip our students with the tools they need to excel academically, guided by their faith, enabling them to make wise decisions now and in their future, rooted in the teachings of Christ.

Our curriculum, tailored for early childhood, elementary, and middle school students, is designed to meet their developmental needs, following both Diocesan guidelines and Next Generation Sunshine State Standards. We're proud to say that our students consistently surpass these standards.

In addition to the core subjects, we offer enriching programs in:

  • Art

  • Media

  • Technology

  • Physical Education

  • Music

  • Spanish

  • TEAL (Technology Enhanced Active Learning) Lab

St. Anthony Catholic school offers an advanced technology program with our TEAL (Technology Enhanced Active Learning) Lab. All students grades K-8 have the opportunity to work in the lab as cooperative groups as true 21st Century students. At St. Anthony, we are dedicated to helping each child thrive physically, socially, emotionally, intellectually, and most importantly, spiritually. Join us on this journey of holistic growth and discovery!

Curriculum

  • PRESCHOOL/VPK

At St. Anthony Catholic School we participate in the State funded Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program. We offer outstanding prekindergarten education in a safe, faith based environment. St. Anthony's VPK program has been commended by the Early Learning Coalition of Polk County for consistently exceeding demanding kindergarten readiness rates.

If you are interested in registering your four year old for VPK at Saint Anthony, we invite you to contact us to meet with the principal and arrange a tour of the school.

  • ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Our Elementary School comprises Kindergarten through 5th Grade.

Kindergarten has an independent classroom unit with its own playground and butterfly garden.

Grades 1 through 5 are located in our main classroom block and students travel to the TEAL Lab and Specials room as their schedule dictates.

  • MIDDLE SCHOOL

In our 6th-8th grade curriculum at St. Anthony, we provide a rigorous and comprehensive educational experience that prepares students for the challenges of higher learning. With a focus on critical thinking, problem-solving, and advanced subject matter, our dedicated faculty ensures that students are well-equipped for academic success and personal growth during these crucial years of their education.
